The new solar power plant will be built in Sanit Leger, a city in the southwest of France, with a total area of ​​180,000 square meters (about 1,940,000 square feet) and is expected to install 39,500 solar modules. The new solar power plant is expected to start construction in October 2011.
EOSOL EN had previously selected solar modules from Canadian Solar, which had been planned for installation in three locations: 230kW in Le Barp, Aquitaine, 8MW in Villeneuve de Marsan and 5.1MW in La Génétouze. For solar installations at Sanit Leger, EOSOL EN is also cooperating with TSK Engineering, a company that integrates engineering, procurement and construction in Thailand, and Abraxa Investments** for the project.
