It is not unreasonable for the farmers to worry about this. As early as when soybean imports in China soared, farmers suffered such losses. The current situation of corn is similar to that of soybeans of the year. Therefore, some industry experts also have the same considerations: Will the corn market repeat the mistakes of domestic soybeans? However, in the view of the head of raw materials for a major corn deep processing enterprise in Jilin Province, the increase in corn imports will not have the consequences expected by the farmers:
