In July, the total export volume of domestic aluminum twisted cables increased 11.64% year-on-year

August 24th: Today's China Customs released data showing that total exports of aluminum twisted cables reached 7,241 tons in July, an increase of 11.64% over the same period last year. From January to July this year, total aluminum wire and cable exports were 61,660 tons, up 62.42% from the same period last year.

In stark contrast to the rise in total exports, the total domestic aluminum cable imports contracted to 38 tons from January to July, a year-on-year drop of 95.39%. In July, the amount of aluminum cable was only 1 ton.

According to research, from May to July, the operating rate of Chinese aluminum cable companies has maintained a high of over 70%, and a number of companies have indicated that they have filled orders until the end of October this year. During this period, the increase in the number of foreign orders, as well as the investment in domestic power grid reconstruction and construction projects, has led to an increase in the production capacity of domestic cable companies, which has led to an increase in domestic exports of aluminum twisted cables and a decrease in imports.
