President Song Zhiping said that in a new era, we should make some changes and turn our past traditional growth model of quantitative growth into our growth mode of pursuing added value. In particular, after the financial crisis and looking forward to the economic recovery in the future, it is necessary to add some wisdom and create more innovations to enhance the added value of the industry through technological innovation.
China's manufacturing industry has already gone through 30 years. It is a powerful engine for the development of the Chinese economy. China's manufacturing enterprises have also accumulated a lot of experience and have already had sufficient capabilities in vigorously advancing technological innovation. Therefore, the focus of the future should be on "Chinese creation."
Regarding how to do a good job in "creating China," Chairman Song Zhiping put forward several suggestions:
First of all, he believes that China's innovation system is different from those in Europe, America, Japan and other countries. In the United States, R&D is basically university-centered. In Japan and South Korea, it is basically centered on the company's central research institute. In China, in the past, because of the fragmentation, more than 200 large-scale institutes were used as a main platform for technological innovation. Many years have passed. With the changes in the system, these institutes have successively entered the big group of central enterprises. Therefore, it is a very important task that we should do to create a large-scale production, study and research platform by a large group of state-owned enterprises to strengthen our innovation capability.
Secondly, Song Zhiping, chairman of the board, believes that the creation of China is not about closing the door to create oneself. In fact, creation itself is also for manufacturing, for higher-level manufacturing, in order to increase the added value of the product. Therefore, China's creation should be an open, integrated system. China's building materials companies should combine the world's creativity, including manpower, overseas research institutes, and our own situation.
Finally, he stressed that the state should allocate and combine the existing resources of the institutes and enterprises reasonably, and it is a relatively practical and sensible approach. Therefore, the current situation of CNBM Group is to organically integrate the current industrial platform and the innovation platform that has entered this group. Then it is combined with research institutions such as institutions and schools outside the group. Finally, we will look for some resources overseas to improve the group's innovation platform. In this way, the path of “Made in China†to “Created in China†is the true fusion of the best of both domestic and foreign experience, and it can only be made more solid.
