According to data released by the General Administration of Customs on August 23, China imported 13.09 million tons of coal in July, a decrease of 5.9% from the same period of last year.
In July, China’s coal exports amounted to 1.39 million tons. Combined with the above-mentioned import data, the net coal imports in July were 11.7 million tons.
Data show that in July China's coke imports decreased by 50% from the same period last year to 13,579 tons.
