2 Taper cutting machining error.
a. The fast wire cutting machine is a molybdenum wire supported by a guide wheel at a high speed. When taper machining, the support cut point will have a small change with the formation of the taper. Therefore, cutting errors are inevitably brought about.
a) Error caused by the change of the tangent point in the U direction.
b) When the molybdenum wire is yawed in the V direction, the molybdenum wire is subjected to the biasing force and has a tendency to slide along the guide wheel.

b. With the movement of the U-axis, the molybdenum wire is subjected to the biasing force, which will produce different slip tendencies in the guide groove, and produce different V-direction errors; this error is not easy to be quantitatively calculated, and can only be qualitative analysis.
c. The fast taper taper error is inevitably caused by the change of the guide wheel cut point. Therefore, in the taper cutting, in order to improve the cutting precision, the knife can be fed in the direction of 45° of the ridge line, or the workpiece can be placed at an angle so that the errors formed by the change of the tangent point of the guide wheel cancel each other in the dimension direction.
