The company stated that this manufacturing method uses filaments to produce diversified crystals for the gas phase disposal of intermediate silicon. Filaments can be produced at speeds of 40 to 45 millimeters per minute, reducing polysilicon consumption per kilogram of filaments to 1.2 kilograms.
In the feed chamber, a polysilicon rod 50-80 mm in diameter is fixed on the wire rope, which is then sent to an inductor, where it is heated to a melting temperature, and the melted silicon is sent to the receiving chamber where the silicon crystallizes. , but susceptible to metal contamination.
According to Valen-Si-A, this technology can protect filaments from metal contamination and increase the purity of polysilicon.
