Analysis on the use and maintenance of aluminum alloy extrusion die

(1) Detecting the dimensional accuracy, hardness and surface roughness of the mold with advanced instrumentation online and offline. The molds that have passed the inspection and acceptance are registered, the human library is put on the shelf, and the working hole of the polishing die hole is taken out during use, and the guiding die, the profile die and the die pad are assembled and inspected, and the machine is heated when it is confirmed to be correct;

(2) Heating temperature before the mold on the machine: extrusion tube: 400 ~ 450 ° C, extrusion pad: 350 ° C, die pad: 350 ~ 400 ° C, flat die: 450 ~ 470 ° C, split mode: 460 ~ 480 °C, the holding time is calculated according to the thickness of the mold (l.5~2 minutes/mm);

(3) The heating time of the tool and die in the furnace is not allowed to exceed 10 hours. The time is too long, and the working hole of the die hole is easily corroded or deformed;

(4) At the beginning of the extrusion of the aluminum alloy profile, it is necessary to add pressure slowly, because the impact force is likely to cause the jamming. If the mold is blocked, it needs to stop immediately to prevent the die hole working belt;

(5) After unloading the mold, when it is cooled to 150-180 °C, put it in the man-made tank. Because the mold is cooked at high temperature, it is easy to be cracked by heat waves. And should adopt advanced etching method to recover lye, reduce corrosion time and achieve pollution-free cleaning;

(6) When the mold repairer assembles the split mold, the copper rod is gently tapped, and it is not allowed to use a large hammer to slam, avoiding excessive force and damaging the mold;

(7) Before the nitriding of the mold, the working hole of the die hole should be carefully polished to a surface roughness Ra of 0.8 to 0.4 μm;

(8) Before the mold is nitrided, it needs to be cleaned, no oil is allowed to be brought into the furnace; the nitriding process should be reasonable (depending on the characteristics of the equipment and the mold material), and the surface hardness after nitriding is HV900~1200, the nitride layer Thick and hard will cause the nitride layer to peel off. A set of molds generally allows nitriding 3 to 5 times; complex high-speed toothed radiator profile molds are not subjected to a nitriding process;

(9) The new mold, the rod mold and the round tube mold of the old product can be directly subjected to nitriding treatment without the trial mold; the new product and the complex profile mold must pass the test mold before the nitriding treatment;

(10) After the new mold test mode is qualified, the maximum unloading of 10 ingots shall be carried out by nitriding the unloading machine to avoid pulling the working belt out of the groove; the two nitriding shall not be overproduced, and the general flat mold is 60. ~100 ingots, the split mode is preferably 40 to 80 ingots, and the nitride layer is pulled too much.

(11) After polishing the mold after use, the oil is stored in a warehouse.
