China's copper and aluminum and other scrap metal classification and technical conditions in the preparation of standards

It is reported that a series of new technical standards, such as the "Classification and Technical Conditions for Copper and Copper Alloy Scrap Wastes" and "Classification and Technical Conditions for Aluminum and Aluminum Alloy Scrap Waste," are under preparation. At present, China has no clear provisions on the evaluation and recycling management of waste miscellaneous non-ferrous metals. The preparation of this series of technical standards will facilitate the development of the industry.

It is expected that there will be more reference to the successful experience of the United States and Europe.
