Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology announced the results of the assessment of the engineering field and material field of the State Key Laboratory in 2018. The State Key Laboratory of Superhard Materials and the State Key Laboratory of Automotive Simulation and Control , which was built by Jilin University , was awarded the National Key Laboratory of Good Classes .
The National Key Laboratory has a five-year evaluation period and evaluates laboratories in 1-2 fields each year. A total of 64 laboratories participated in the evaluation, including 43 engineering fields and 21 materials fields.
