Baosteel’s Silicon Steel Division sets clear annual production targets for 2011

In 2011, it was a crucial year for the improvement of silicon steel production indicators for the first phase and completion of major project feeding tasks. In the second phase of construction, the first phase of the third phase of construction, Baosteel’s silicon steel division will face the “three major battles” at the same time. A few days ago, at the second session of the Second Staff Representative Conference of the Ministry of Silicon Steel, it was deployed and fully mobilized to complete its annual tasks. All cadres and staff members must complete the annual output of oriented silicon steel by 105,000 tons, the annual output of non-oriented silicon steel by 1.15 million tons, and the second phase of the project will be commissioned at the node, and the production and construction of the unit will be completed in 2011.

In the first half of 2010, the sales volume of non-oriented silicon steel in Baosteel's sheet metal sales department reached 600,000 tons, and the comprehensive technical specifications of high-grade non-oriented silicon steel products have reached the international advanced level of similar products. In 2010, Baosteel's high-grade non-oriented silicon steel entered Dongfang Motor for the first time, and Midea purchased a total of 19,000 tons of its high-grade non-oriented silicon steel. At the same time, Baosteel has been hailed as “artisan in steel products” oriented silicon steel, and Baosteel’s total annual output exceeded 100,000 tons in 2010.
