Beijing-Zhangjia high-speed railway Badaling Yueling section officially started construction for a full four-and-a-half-year period

The reporter learned from the 5th meeting of the 15th National People's Congress of Yanqing County yesterday that the Beijing-Zhangjia high-speed railway Badaling Yueling section is expected to start construction in the first half of this year. The Xingyan Expressway will also ensure the substantial start of construction during the year and the completion of the traffic in 2018.

According to Cao Kaifeng, deputy director of the Yanqing County Transportation Bureau, in November 2014, the feasibility study of the Beijing-Zhangjia high-speed railway Badaling Yueling section was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. In December, the China Railway Corporation approved the preliminary design and is currently reviewing the construction drawings. After the completion of the audit, you can bid for the bid, and it is expected to start construction in the first half of this year.

According to the plan, the 174-kilometer-long Jing-Zhang high-speed railway has 9 stations from Beijing North Railway Station to Zhangjiakou South Station. Yanqing Station is set up in the branch line and 70 kilometers in Beijing. The whole construction period is 4 and a half years. The Badaling Yueling section is imported from the Juyongguan tunnel to the Badaling Tunnel exit, with a total length of 15.44 kilometers and an estimated investment of 1.7 billion yuan.

According to Wang Sheng, the person in charge of the Yanqing Highway Branch Project, in accordance with the requirements of the Beijing World Garden Association in 2019, the Xingyan Expressway must be completed and opened to traffic in 2018. The design plan has been approved on December 9, 2014. Currently, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission is reviewing the feasibility study report.

The total length of the Xingyan Expressway is 42 kilometers. It starts from the Changping to West Qinghuan to the Yanqing and Yingchengzi interchanges. The construction period is about 3 years and a half, the design speed is 80 kilometers, and the design speed of the plain section is 100 kilometers. Wang Sheng said that after the completion of the Xingyan Expressway, another highway will be installed in the northwest direction of Beijing, which will play an important role in relieving the traffic pressure of the Beijing-Tibet Expressway and promoting the development of Yanqing.
