In addition to the pigment wettability and adhesion and flexibility of the PVDF system, FEVE fluororesin coatings also have good solvent solubility, transparency, gloss, hardness, and crosslinkability. These advantages have enabled fluorocarbon coatings that have existed for nearly 30 years to further expand their application. It can be designed for room temperature curing, but also short-term thermal curing film. FEVE fluororesin coating has been successfully used in exterior wall painting in China and is a self-drying system. For coil coatings, the construction market is a new opportunity. With the penetration of aluminum in special construction applications, FEVE solvent-based fluorocarbon coatings will continue to enter this industry. The world's major oil companies have coated aluminum coils with FEVE solvent-based fluororesin coatings. However, at present, the domestic FEVE fluorine resin coating has not been solved because of its resistance to high temperature yellowing, poor T-curve, etc., and it has not been applied to the coating of coils so far. Solving this problem will provide new impetus for the development of FEVE fluororesin coatings.
