Second, if the latex paint should be directly painted after opening the can, it may be too thick. It is recommended to add the water according to the proportion of the water on the product packaging, and the paint will be easier to apply. The interval between the application of the latex paint should be determined according to the specific construction conditions. In theory, the first time the paint is completely dried, it is coated for the second time, usually about 2 hours apart.
Third, in order to prevent the occurrence of brush marks when painting, a small amount of water can be appropriately added to the latex paint to adjust the viscosity of the paint. The area of ​​the one-time brush should not be too large. The brush should be suitable and should not be too soft or too hard. Brushing a primer on the highly absorbent bottom layer can make the brush marks less noticeable.
Fourth, the use of roller construction is quite labor-saving, just wet the roller, then evenly paint, and brush it in a straight direction. It is recommended that each roll coating should overlap the upper roller coating by about 1/3 of the area. If it is used, the obvious difference will be formed at the intersection of the roller; the speed of the roller coating should not be too fast to avoid paint splashing. Or the coating is not uniform.
Fifth, it is generally not recommended to directly paint the paint on the wallpaper. If you want to repaint, it is best to use diluted detergent or hot water to help soften the glue applied to the wallpaper. After scraping off the wallpaper and residual glue. Then apply it. If it is not painted on the wallpaper, it should first be tested on a small area to observe whether there is peeling and bubbling and sag. If there is no such phenomenon, the whole surface can be painted.
6. If the old house wants to repaint, first observe whether the old paint film is in good condition. If there is no peeling, peeling, chalking, cracking, etc., the surface of the coating will be cleaned and dried before it can be directly applied. If the old coating is peeled, peeled off, powdered, etc., it needs to be scraped off, sanded, and polished to a solid base before the recoating process can be carried out.
