From the point of view of the paint mist that can be captured by spraying, the prevention of paint mist and solvent vapor diffusion, the spray booth is an environmentally friendly device, but it does not eliminate the most common pollution in the spray industry - organic volatiles (VOC). Due to the large displacement of the spray booth and the low solvent content, there is still no good treatment method (especially on large spray lines), and only high-altitude emissions are used to meet environmental emission standards. Although the market uses mineral oil instead of the circulating water in the spray booth, and the activated carbon tower in the spray booth exhaust system to report on the organic solvent of the wife, the author believes that the oil and activated carbon can dissolve and adsorb the organic solvent. The VOC in the gas may meet the environmental requirements. If the adsorbed solvent is not removed or the oil is reused in time, the adsorption may be saturated. When the air is exhausted, the VOC is taken into the atmosphere. . In addition, the oil is a combustible material, which not only increases the risk of fire and oil mist polluting the environment at the spraying site, but may also cause shrinkage of the coating film. The VOC pollution problem of spraying can be cured by adopting environmentally friendly coatings (high solids coatings, waterborne coatings) and improving the coating efficiency of spraying.
